So when SEI was ready to launch its complex approach to financial advice for baby boomers, we helped them develop concrete ways to demonstrate the abstract value of their offering to prospects – most of whom had never heard of SEI before.

 

Enter the SEI Wealth Network Play. Hosted by local advisors and held in unique venues such as art galleries, community theaters and outdoor plazas, this live-action performance uses real actors to reenact the real issues couples and families encounter when managing their lives and their wealth.

 

To pitch this story to media, we gathered compelling statistics and developed vivid imagery to emphasize the unique methods SEI was using to connect with its audience.

 

Thanks to a well-articulated story and a made-for-media event, SEI was featured as a consumer-focused television news story for the first time in SEI’s 36-year history. Additionally, we generated event-related print coverage, as well as broader trade media coverage on SEI’s concept. The momentum built through this effort also led to inclusion in Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek features on the future of wealth management, as well as countless industry cover stories and features throughout the year.
