MAB Paints - National Launch of Eclipse Paint

MAB Paints developed a new paint that could coat a wall in one covering - we named it Eclipse. With a new paint on the market, the mature brand needed a shot of youthful enthusiasm. They got it when we developed the concept of the Billionth Can of MAB Paints.

MAB needed a compelling and distinctive launch to attract the media spotlight. The corresponding event -- a celebration at the company's Southwest Philadelphia manufacturing plant featuring visuals of paint cans rolling off the line and being filled with the new Eclipse paint. We secured a proclamation from the Mayor's office declaring the day "MAB Paints Day", and the media train took off.

Every major television station in the market covered the event, and print and radio coverage included The Philadelphia Inquirer, KYW Radio, and multiple radio stations in the Allentown market. Overall media impressions for the Billionth Can Event were estimated at more than 10 million, and as a result the MAB business story has been profiled in The Philadelphia Business Journal, Delaware County Times, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
